A veteran consultant, Giles has served clients in the environmental services, architecture, engineering, energy, healthcare and digital media markets as well as in the public sector.

Giles's work focuses on helping organizations achieve healthy growth by increasing profitability, expanding into new markets, developing new services, and optimizing their operational methods and organizational structures. Giles is a frequent speaker and author on leadership, management, and strategy, for professional and general media outlets.

Since 2003, Giles has taught the commercialization of innovation and entrepreneurship course at Archeworks, a post graduate, multi-disciplinary design school focused on the future development of socially and ecologically sustainable infrastructure.

Giles has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Masters in Philosophy from Cambridge University in England. He also holds undergraduate and Masters degrees in History from the University of Edinburgh.
